Emergency Loan Option for UCLA Faculty and Staff
We know that COVID-19 is creating challenging times for everyone. School and workplace closures, changes in schedules and social isolation are all placing extra burdens on people throughout our community. And that is why, as the Official Banking Partner of UCLA Campus Life and Recreation, Wescom is here to help.
UCLA Faculty and Staff impacted by COVID-19 can now apply for a Wescom Emergency Loan, a form of a Personal Loan, to help with financial hardship experienced during this time.
Wescom Emergency Loan1 Offers
- $2,500 loan for a 36-month term
- $5,000 loan for a 60-month term2
- 0% APR3 for the first 90-days
- A low rate of 5.90% APR thereafter
Wescom Membership with Your Emergency Loan
Wescom is a not-for-profit financial cooperative where our members are our owners. It takes a $1 deposit into a Wescom Savings Account to become a member-owner, so you can start taking advantage of the products and services we offer4. As part of the Emergency Loan application, we'll setup your Wescom Savings Account and make the $1.00 deposit to your account on your behalf. We are also waiving the monthly maintenance fee and extending Platinum Signature Member Benefits – our highest level of rewards – to our UCLA Faculty and Staff members through December 31, 2020.
